--More than 10 years as a graphic designer with special knowledge in print. I have collaborated with government institutions, universities, and private companies, as well as participated as competitor, judge and coach of international creativity competitions. This experience makes me understand the design as a creative event in any of its areas of communication and services.

Guanajuato’s State Government, for Governor Vicente Fox, Guanajuato, Mex 1998-1999
Senior Designer
Part of a five senior designer’s team; lead by a Marketing Ph.D., working together with the co-ordinator of Social Communication and the Governor. The team was responsible for building up the Corporate Identity of the Guanajuato State Government, which included all the ministries (Culture, Health, Transit, Security, Youth, Education and Commerce), institutions, and agencies that worked within the government. We produce print graphics, individual corporate identities for institutions and seminars, exhibitions and even digital media and where responsible for the design process from initial concept through to final print.
Each of us worked with specific clients within government, but gave feedback in each other’s work. Health, Public Lawyers, Economic Development, Culture, Finances and Water Ministries were my regulars.

Art Director – “La Catrina II”
La Catrina is a didactic video series for English speaking people to learn Spanish. It is currently distribute throughout the High Schools of the United States and was broadcasted in the UK by BBC Four. While filming I supervise and directed the work of five people and the handled the budget for the art department including salaries, prop, construction, costumes and scenario spending. I created or supervised costumes, props, makeup and hairstyles of the series. Improvisation was also part of the work.
Museo Regional de Queretaro, Queretaro, Mex 1997
Freelance Corporate Identity
The Regional Museum is the largest and oldest museum in Queretaro. Even if the museum had been open for almost 35 years, it didn’t had a Corporate Image, therefore it was a challenge to deal with the museum committee, who was not certain of what the image of the museum should be.
The museum is located in an old monastery down town Queretaro consequently a great deal of research about architecture, history, and modern life in the city was carried out in order to have the best results reflected in the Corporate Identity. I was responsible of the main printed application of the Identity.
